Pound Cake

Ingredients

3 cups cake flour
2 ½ cups sugar
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
2 sticks soft butter
½ cup oil
1 cup buttermilk
4 eggs
1 tablespoon sour cream
2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
2. Sift flour; add vanilla pudding mix and baking powder and set aside. In another bowl, cream together the butter, oil and sugar before beating in one egg at a time. Slowly add in the flour mixture until combined. Pour in the buttermilk and beat until blended. Mix in the sour cream and vanilla extract.
3. Pour into a greased and floured bundt cake pan and bake for 1 hour, or until toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
